The blues and greens work beautifully in that pewter setting.
That gold rose is lovely and tres 1980s, those snake chains were all the rage back then.
The Victorian bracelet is absolutely gorgeous, if only it could talk, huh?

How fun is this, to see your jewelry like this! That bracelet is gorgeous and looks to have some kind of romantic history like you said. I picture a woman riding a train wearing it.

I love the slinky gold snake chain with the huge flower too. I'm interested in the Etsy shop you purchased the last beauty from. I'll look forward to seeing what you do with that piece. It's so rich looking.

I almost did the same thing when I saw it at a sample sale - it was $60 or so so it must have retailed for $120 or more, but I had to splurge as it's just a bag you can take anywhere. The label is SR2 by Sondra Roberts, the more affordable line from Sondra Roberts out of New York. I bought it two years ago so who knows? Maybe you can still find it. :)

Teehee, Melanie the artist in you will appreciate that wall! At the moment I live in one of the original fishermen's cottages in St Annes, Lancashire - a couple hundred years ago the sea used to come up right to the front door! The wall is part of an old outhouse that's now used for storage .... I like snapping pics in front of it as it's so textured and such a great gritty & craggy backdrop - kinda like north-west England!
