Pop-up tomorrow with Nadia & Grunge Queen
ATTENTION GLAM QUEENS: My best gal pal Nadia and I are hosting a pop-up shop tomorrow, Saturday Sept. 24 from 9 a.m. to end of day at 983 Pape Ave (near Floyd, practically across the street from Stretch Thrift).
Nadia has some great vintage/noveau pieces, dresses to coats (she's tiny, fyi, smaller than me and I'm a size six), and she also has great handbags and accessories. I'll be bringing jewellery, handbags and accessories and maybe some clothes.
The sale is inside so even if the weather's crap, we'll be there! Please drop in - we're cleaning out the style coffers and there will be good stuff!

Oh I wish I could come shame I live on the other side of the world! Good luck I bet you will have gorgeous pieces.
ReplyDeleteE :)
that's going to be so great!wish i could be there :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your show. I am hoping to rent a small space in the near future as I increase my collection, but I need a friend to share in the fun. Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly;
ReplyDeleteGood luck; have a very successful sale! So close to where I live (Thorncliffe Park). Unfortunately, I have to work, otherwise I'd pop in and say hello to you. You know, I did see you one time, last winter, on the bus, but I was too shy to say anything. My loss, next time, I will say something!
Regards, Laura
Faboo sweater!
ReplyDeleteDarn, i wish i'd called my blog Grunge something...
I am still living in the 'grunge period'!

If I'd been closer, I would've dropped by for sure!
ReplyDeleteGood luck :)
Vintage Sweetheart, I often have that feeling with blogging pals - that I'd love to come over for a visit of show and tell!!
ReplyDeleteDespina, it was sooo much fun - we met all kinds of peeps and laughed a lot!
Thanks Kris - I love the pop-up idea as it's so temporary and not a huge time or cash commitment!
Laura - I am so flattered, I wish you would have said hello!! Sorry you couldn't make it - I did have one lovely reader come by. There will be more. Stay tuned!
Retro Riva, tee hee, there is a story behind that name: years ago my bro-in-law, commenting on my cheap-yet-chic digs, called me the Martha Stewart of Grunge. The name stuck, in part!
Vonlipi, wish we could just sometimes blink and be hanging out with our blogging buds - and shopping together too!
I stumbled upon your blog today. I am so disappointed to hear that I missed this pop-up store, as I live no more than 5 minutes away. Looks like I'm several months too late! Ha ha. I hope this wasn't a one time deal!
ReplyDeleteOh I'm so sorry you missed the sale! And I have just moved away from TO!! But if you like deals, I hope you're acquainted with Stretch Thrift at Pape and Floyd - if you dig, you can find great deals!! I bought most of my wardrobe there. All the best!
