Expensive looking yet cheapie rings

Tonight I'm testing out my hand modeling poses on you.

I should change this blog's name to bling blog or something, since its contents are reflecting my increasing contume jewellery obsession. I have a couple rings that I think look really expensive but yet cost me very little. I picked this one up on a shop on the Danforth the other day named Giftings (which, sadly, is closing at the end of May) for part of a 2 for $15 deal (or one for $10).

It's titanium or something, not silver, but I just loved the lily-like design.

I wear this one all the time. It was 50 cents at an end-of-the-line retailer and I bought it a few years ago. I think the guy said it was Johnson's New York, which I haven't been able to find any info on. Not sure if it's copper or some other material, but whenever I wear it, I get compliments galore.

  1. I love the design of the second ring-- it does look like a higher end designer piece. I'm mad for jewelry too, I tend to mix high and low end pieces, like fun celluloid necklaces and Bakelite bangles with gold rings and lockets.

  2. Very pretty rings; and what great prices!

I used to only wear 2 rings. This year, thanks to my daughters at Xmas, I've been switching them up; I think I have 5 rings now.

  3. Leilani, I love the hi low thing too, and esp when something lo looks high!!

Sandy - it's nice to change things up sometimes, isn't it? And I'm not going to **tell** you how many rings I have!!
