Kitty loves thrifted heels

This is my dear sweet kitty Dinky, who loves lying on everything from dirty laundry to boots in the closet.

And as you can see here, she loves shoes too. In fact she was lounging on and beside them all weekend!

I snagged these Kenneth Cole suede heels for $3.99 on the weekend. Believe it or not I don't have black heels!

I tried to get her to look at the camera again, but I think she may have been imagining all the outfits her mommie could put together with these shoes, which now are coated with grey kitty hair, ahem.

Aren't they just the cutest? Love the shape. I don't care if pointy shoes aren't in style anymore.

I'll post a pic when I play dress up and let you know how they look on me!

In the meantime, Dinky, you can hang out by the shoes.

    I have about 5 pair of black heels that I have thrifted. I think I get shoe amnesia and forget that I have that many pairs. LOL

    I guess I live by the adage "You can never have enough shoes". :)

  3. Great shoe find! I think good black heels are difficult to find thrifted because they get worn so often. Your kitty is very cute! Our two cover all shades from white and gray to black with a little brown so none of our clothes are safe.

  5. Leslie, I rarely find good black shoes in the thrift shop; you must have the thrifting Karma! If they're leather they're normally really scuffed. The ones I'm attracted to are suede ones like these - I think because they don't show the marks and wear as much.

  6. Jenifir, I'm with you on the scuffed thing! And yes, living with cats means that no matter how good you look, you'll always have a little collection of hairs plastered on you! Didn't you post pics of your kitties, or am I thinking of someone else? If it was you I'll say this: they are gorgeous.
